กระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา โดย การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) ร่วมกับสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ ณ กรุงธากา จัดงาน Amazing Thailand Festival in Bhutan 2025 โดยได้รับเกียรติจากท่านรัฐมนตรี กระทรวง อุตสาหกรรม เศรษฐกิจและแรงงาน Mr. Lyonpo Namgyal Dorji Honorable Minister of Industry, Commerce and Employment ประธานในการกล่าวต้อนรับ พร้อมด้วย คณะผู้บริหารหารระดับสูง จาก ทางการภูฐาน ร่วมด้วย นางมาฆวดี สุมิตรเหมาะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงธากา นางสาวฐาปนีย์ เกียรติไพบูลย์ ผู้ว่าการการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย นางสาวภัทรอนงค์ ณ เชียงใหม่ รองผู้ว่าการด้านตลาดเอเชีย และแปซิฟิกใต้ Mr. Damcho Rinzin, Director of Tourism Department of Bhutan และนายเขมทัต อาชวธำรง ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ (สคต.) ณ กรุงธากา และผู้บริหารการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทยเข้าร่วมงานฯ โดยภาวในงานได้รับการต้อนรับอย่างท่วมท้นจากชาวภูฐาน
งาน Amazing Thailand Festival in Bhutan 2025 จัดขึ้นเพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์สร้างการรับรู้ภาพลักษณ์อุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวไทย รวมถึงกระตุ้นให้เกิดความสนใจเดินทางท่องเที่ยวประเทศไทยในตลาดภูฏานแล้ว ยังเป็นกิจกรรมที่สนับสนุนการแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมและสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างสองประเทศ โดยภายในงานมีซุ้มกิจกรรมรูปแบบต่าง ๆ ที่มุ่งถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์ท่องเที่ยว Soft Power ของไทยตามแนวคิด 5 Must Do in Thailand ให้กับชาวภูฏานและบุคคลทั่วไปที่สนใจได้สัมผัสอย่างใกล้ชิด ได้แก่
🍴Must Taste กิจกรรมสาธิตการทำอาหารไทย อาทิ ผัดไทย กระเพราเต้าหู้ ส้มต้ำ น้ำสมุนไพร และขนมบัวลอย
🥊Must Try กิจกรรมสาธิตวัฒนธรรมไทย อาทิ การวาดร่ม การตัดธุงตุงไส้หมู การนวดแผนไทย และการสอนมวยไทย
🎁Must Buy นำเสนอสินค้าทางการท่องเที่ยวและของที่ระลึกจากประเทศไทย อาทิ พวงกุญแจช้างน้อย กางเกงมวยไทย และผลิตภัณฑ์ต่าง ๆ ของไทย
🏝️Must Seek นำเสนอ Photo Backdrop ที่สะท้อนจุดเด่นของวัฒนธรรมความเป็นไทย อาทิ แหล่งท่องเที่ยวทางทะเล รถตุ๊กตุ๊ก มวยไทย รำไทย
🇹🇭Must See จัดการแสดงทางวัฒนธรรมที่ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวและวิถีชีวิตของไทย อาทิ การรำไทยรูปแบบต่างๆ และการโชว์มวยไทย เพื่อเชิญชวนให้นักท่องเที่ยวภูฏานเดินทางมาสัมผัสประสบการณ์ท่องเที่ยวอันทรงคุณค่าในปี Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025
โดยการจัดงานในครั้งนี้ คาดว่ามีนักท่องเที่ยวชาวภูฏานและผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมงาน ไม่ต่ำกว่า 30,000 คน
ตลาดนักท่องเที่ยวภูฏานถือเป็นตลาดนักท่องเที่ยวระยะใกล้ขนาดเล็ก แต่เป็นตลาดคุณภาพและ มีความน่าสนใจในด้านพฤติกรรมการท่องเที่ยว โดยตลอดปี 2567 มีนักท่องเที่ยวภูฏานเดินทางเข้ามาท่องเที่ยวประเทศไทยจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 21,581 คน เพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 6.02 จากปี 2566 ที่จำนวน 20,356 คน โดยนักท่องเที่ยวชาวภูฏานนิยมเดินทางท่องเที่ยวเพื่อพักผ่อนหย่อนใจ เพื่อการศึกษา และเพื่อการตรวจรักษาสุขภาพ ชื่นชอบการช้อบปิ้ง เที่ยวทะเล ท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพ ตรวจเช็คสุขภาพและส่วนใหญ่ชอบเที่ยวแบบครอบครัว ทั้งนี้ ในปี 2568 ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มกราคม-18 เมษายน 2568 มีนักท่องเที่ยวภูฏานเดินทางเข้ามาท่องเที่ยวประเทศไทยแล้ว จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 9,994 คน
TAT Moves Forward Under the Two Kingdoms One Destination MOU, Tapping into the Bhutan Market with Full Showcase of Thai Soft Power at the Amazing Thailand Festival in Bhutan 2025

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports, through the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in collaboration with the Office of International Trade Promotion in Dhaka, organized the Amazing Thailand Festival in Bhutan 2025. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Lyonpo Namgyal Dorji, Honorable Minister of Industry, Commerce and Employment of Bhutan, who delivered the welcome speech. Also in attendance were high-ranking Bhutanese government officials, H.E. Ms. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of Thailand to Dhaka, Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Ms. Patthanong Na Chiangmai, Deputy Governor for Asia and South Pacific Market, Mr. Damcho Rinzin, Director of the Tourism Department of Bhutan, Mr. Khematat Archawathamrong, Director of the Office of International Trade Promotion in Dhaka, and TAT executives. The event received an overwhelming warm welcome from the people of Bhutan.
The Amazing Thailand Festival in Bhutan 2025 aimed to promote and enhance the image of Thailand’s tourism industry and stimulate travel interest among the Bhutanese market. It also served as a platform to foster cultural exchange and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. The event featured various activity booths offering immersive Thai Soft Power experiences under the concept of 5 Must Do in Thailand, allowing Bhutanese visitors and other attendees to experience Thai culture up close:
Must Taste: Thai cooking demonstrations, such as Pad Thai, Tofu Basil Stir-fry, Som Tum (Papaya Salad), herbal drinks, and Bua Loy (Thai rice flour dumplings in coconut milk).
Must Try: Thai cultural showcases including umbrella painting, Tung Sai Moo cutting (a Northern Thai paper art), traditional Thai massage, and Muay Thai instruction.
Must Buy: Presentation of Thai tourism-related products and souvenirs, such as elephant keychains, Muay Thai shorts, and various Thai goods.
Must Seek: Photo backdrops highlighting unique aspects of Thai culture such as beach destinations, tuk-tuks, Muay Thai, and traditional Thai dance.
Must See: Cultural performances depicting Thai lifestyles, including various traditional Thai dances and Muay Thai shows, encouraging Bhutanese travelers to explore the richness of Thai tourism during the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025.
The event is expected to attract no fewer than 30,000 visitors, including Bhutanese tourists and interested attendees.
Although Bhutan is considered a small, short-haul tourism market, it is recognized for its high quality and intriguing travel behaviors. In 2024, a total of 21,581 Bhutanese tourists visited Thailand, marking a 6.02% increase from 2023, which recorded 20,356 visitors. Bhutanese tourists typically travel for leisure, education, and medical checkups. They enjoy shopping, beach destinations, wellness tourism, and family travel. From January 1 to April 18, 2025, a total of 9,994 Bhutanese tourists have already visited Thailand.
